Legal & Lethal Use of Force

This 2.5 hour course gives Michigan residents the information and understanding of what an armed law-abiding citizen must legally be aware of and responsible for with regards to using a firearm if you’re involved in a violent incident. Taught by a legal professional in the area of firearms. We will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.

  • Recognizing what “Reasonable Force” is, and how it is determined

  • Conceptualizing the perception of a violent incident from the view of a prosecutor evaluating a potential criminal case against a legally armed-citizen
